(“Facedrive”) (TSXV: FD), Canada’s “people-and-planet first” business and leading tech developer, is pleased to announce that TraceSCAN Wearables, Facedrive Health’s COVID-19 contact tracing wearable solution announced ready for market on July 7, 2020, is now available on Microsoft App Store.
Facedrive’s TraceSCAN Wearables is a windows application that features Bluetooth wearable technology integration to enable contact tracing at workplaces across Ontario, such as sporting venues, corporate offices, healthcare and long-term care facilities and public outdoor sites. TraceSCAN Wearables is a viable alternative to “mobile only” contact tracing applications and especially valuable for workers whose cell phone usage is restricted, such as construction workers, healthcare professionals, farmers and other industry professionals.
The TraceSCAN Wearables application is available for download from the Microsoft Store by invite only. This app is part of the TraceSCAN Wearable technology package, which also includes wearables that will be distributed to each of the participating businesses to enhance workplace health and safety. TraceSCAN will work closely with participating businesses to enable and enhance pandemic management and mitigation policies in a highly customized manner. The TraceSCAN Wearables app will be used by participating businesses to assist with contact tracing efforts in the workplace as businesses reopen and people return to work. Contractual terms and conditions are being negotiated with partnering businesses, and will be disclosed once finalized.
